The SEFQ is a 40-item Likert-type questionnaire to be completed by parents in order to measure their actions in the home. The SEFQ was based off of a previous questionnaire, the Family Expressiveness Questionnaire (FEQ) from 1986.

The MSS questionnaire contains 33 Likert-type items to evaluate sources of stress and support experienced by children and adolescents during and subsequent to a family move.
