The CTQ was designed to assess two primary aspects of timing as it relates to having a child: (1) the important of being ready for a child in terms of personal and professional stages in life and (2) how long respondents believe it will take until they are ready to have their next child.
The PAI is a 21-item instrument, with responses indicated on a 4-point Likert-style basis. The PAI is designed to measure a woman's personal experiences and awareness of the baby during pregnancy.
