The PSI is a 23-item Likert-type questionnaire measuring the stresses experienced by new parents resulting from lifestyle changes associated with having a baby.
The HSI is actually two instruments, one developed for use with U.S.-born Hispanics and the other for those born in other countries who have immigrated to the United States. The HSI measures the psychosocial stress experienced by Hispanic adults.
